Bluetooth Widget ("the app") does not collect, store, sell, or transmit any personal or sensitive user data to any server. Everything the app does happens locally on your device.
Android requires apps to hold Location permission in order to scan for and discover nearby Bluetooth devices via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanning. Bluetooth Widget requests this permission solely to perform that scan. Your location is never recorded, stored, logged, or transmitted anywhere, by the app or to any third party.
If you optionally grant "Allow all the time" location access, this is used only to let the home-screen widget refresh the list of nearby Bluetooth devices while the app is not actively open. This background access is never used to track, record, or share your location history.
Names and addresses of nearby Bluetooth devices are read directly from the Android Bluetooth APIs and are only ever displayed locally in the app and its home-screen widget. This information is never uploaded, shared with third parties, or stored outside your device.
Bluetooth Widget does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and does not share any data with third parties.
